The Ladies Only Pistol & Safety Orientation is a two-day course designed for the new shooter that either has not spent time around firearms, or maybe its been a while and you want to refamiliarize yourself with the basic fundamentals of firearms safety, pistol handling, and marksmanship fundamentals.

The initial 2-hour period of instruction breaks down all aspects of pistol handling in a slow pace, easy to digest and retain format enabling the student to easily retain the information and instruction presented. Often times in development-style classes, there is a lot of information presented to the student quickly with little time to reinforce. Our philosophy and format, as with any of our courses, is for the student to actively participate verbally and physically by integrating a back and forth dialogue as well as visual demonstrations by the instructors and hands-on learning by the student. The “Hear-See-Do” method of learning, we have found, promotes the most information retention and overall success of our students.

The follow-up class is the live-fire range portion, which students will have the opportunity to try several different firearm platforms and calibers, which will be provided by ODM Defense. You may bring your own firearm if you choose to. You will need to bring eye protection and hearing protection to the range day.

This course consists of extensive safety training, basic fundamentals, the understanding of marksmanship, basic pistol shooting skills, and pistol selection information.

The course cost is $100.00, and a 20% deposit is required to enroll. Deposits can be made through our “Deposits” tab, then choose the appropriate course selection from the options available.

You do not need to bring a firearm to this class. Part 1 consists of lecture, discussion, and some handling with inert training pistols. part 2 will be the live-fire range day. There will be a limited amount of ammunition available. If you wish to fire more rounds, ammo will be available for sale on the day of the range.
